This is where CAAFA visits members of our community through churches, civic organizations and special events to educate them about a career in the fire service.

CAAFA has mentoring groups, to not only assist youth in the community to excel in life, but to teach them about public service to their community. We like to help them understand how to be better than a normal person and how to reach for excellence while pursuing a career in the fire service.

CAAFA also has career opportunity information sessions, which gives a short introductory of what’s involved with the occupation of firefighting, in addition to examples of the various phases of the Civil Service Exam and how to succeed in applying and taking the exam.
